I get this all the time reading fic 😂 They'll describe a position sometimes and I'm either like, "Wait, how the hell does that work?" or "Oh god, RIP to Wei Wuxian's back."

I HAVE SO MANY CONFUSED THOUGHTS

for a minute i had listed some of them in a comment but then i got worried that someone whose fic i like might read it and feel self-conscious and i don't want that (so many <3 to fic writers even when your sex scenes have awkward moments. sex is awkward anyway)

Ahhh such a mood. Confusing or unrealistic sex choreography will throw me so fast: I cannot keep reading until I have a clear picture in my mind of how everyone's positioned.

haha for me issues of choreography usually slide right past because i'm one of those people who has trouble visualizing anyway... but for some reason the ao3 authors i follow are all really into rimming right now, which i am not particularly um, invested in? so i have more brain power available to consider the mechanics.
