I am right there with you. Meetings suck and could very easily be group chats. Knowing a meeting is coming at some point later in the day just makes the whole day worse.

I keep forgetting meetings I'm supposed to show up to because none of them actually involve enough important information for me to really need to be there. It's just about putting in a face so the boss's boss knows I'm Present And Engaged.
